ASSESSING

Learning Outcome: I intend to improve the quality of the student assessment system and student learning outcomes by applying and prioritizing a structured feedback process between assessors and students in the minor program. This improvement will be pursued by aligning assessment practices with organizational contexts and policies, utilizing appropriate assessment materials and rubrics or guidelines, and continuously strengthening the application of assessment knowledge and skills.

Testing:
Testing refers to the measurement of the extent to which students have acquired specific knowledge or skills, typically through standardized measures. In this program, implicit formative assessments are conducted in each subject through learning activities such as discussions, role plays, and field trips.

Assesing:
Assessing, on the other hand, is a broader concept that involves evaluating student learning using a variety of methods. In this program, students are required to complete project-based tasks that support the achievement of learning outcomes, culminating in the development of a portfolio as the final summative assessment.

Summative Test:
In this minor program, the summative assessment will evaluate student portfolios through presentations and assessment interviews conducted by assessors. This assessment process implemented for the first time from 19 to 21 June 2023.

Formative Test:
Providing feedback, feed up, and feedforward in formative assessment is a crucial practice that I consistently apply as a teacher, including in my Geriatric Care in Bali subject. Formative assessments in this subject are conducted through discussions, simulations, and experiential learning activities during field trips. However, the validity, reliability, transparency, and efficiency of the formative assessment results within our minor program remain limited.
